Mammillaria lenta

These were some of the first fruits I ever collected at Arid Adaptations Nursery. I spotted the bright pops of color tucked between soft white spines that looked more like fur than cactus. I was still figuring out the rhythm of seed collecting, but this little one made it feel easy—like it wanted to be found.

Growth habit: Compact, slow-growing, and forms small clusters over time
