FAQ

1. Where are the seeds sourced from?
Most seeds are personally collected and cleaned by me from plants at Arid Adaptations Nursery in Tucson, AZ. This allows me to share fresh, high-quality seeds directly from plants grown here in the desert.

From time to time, I also offer seeds sourced through Arid Adaptations from trusted growers overseas. So you may see some unique or harder-to-find species as well!

2. How long do the seeds remain viable?
Seeds are harvested and cleaned with care to maintain their viability. Most cactus seeds remain viable for about 1-3 years, though germination is usually best when planted sooner rather than later.

3. Can I order seeds in larger quantities?
Listings currently go up to 100 seeds. If you’re looking for larger quantities, feel free to reach out through the contact form. I’m happy to offer bulk options.

4. How long does it take for orders to arrive?
We aim to ship orders on Mondays to avoid weekend delays and keep things running smoothly. Since we’re about 30 minutes from the post office, we try to minimize trips when we can.

Occasionally, seed orders may go out on other days throughout the week.

Shipping times vary depending on your location, but most orders arrive within 2-7 business days after drop-off.

5. Do you offer international shipping?
Not at this time, but it’s something I hope to offer in the future.

6. What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of seeds, returns aren’t accepted. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out within 2 days of delivery and I’ll do my best to make it right.

7. Are your seeds organic?
While not certified organic, the seeds are grown naturally at Arid Adaptations Nursery without the use of synthetic chemicals.

8. Can I get advice on growing my seeds?
Absolutely. Feel free to reach out anytime. I’m happy to help however I can as you grow.
